1. Is there any pain after or during lasik procedure?
Anesthetizing eye drops are applied before surgery so you will feel painless. The entire technique takes about 20 minutes for both eyes. Soon after you may feel a slightly scratchy sensation, but most people don’t need any pain medication.

4. Preparation before surgery is performed
If you wear contact lenses, stop wearing soft contact lenses for at least a week before procedure and 2 week with hard contact lenses, wearing glasses instead. Tell your doctor about your health background. Be sure to carry your eyeglasses to the surgeon so your prescription can be reviewed.
5. How to take care the eyes after surgery?
- Try to relax and have 3-4 hour sleep
- Wearing eye protection for 7 days after surgery
- Don't allow tap water to get in your eyes for at least a week after eye surgery.
- Don't take a shower or wash your hair until the day after laser eye surgery.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes for the first week after laser eye surgery.
- Avoid swimming pools, whirlpools, saunas, and lakes at least 14 days after laser eye surgery.
- No eye makeup for at least one week after laser eye surgery. Discard partially used makeup to avoid bacterial contamination.
- Don't get your hair colored or permed for at least 10 days after lasik surgery.
- No exercise for two days after laser eye surgery.
